Did you know
- TriviaAccording to the DVD commentary, the Japanese man who repeats the "incredibly large penis" trick is based on someone Trey Parker and Matt Stone met in Beijing.
- GoofsWhile in the store buying Chinpokomon dolls, Cartman yells at Kenny because Kenny took the last Pengin doll. A few scenes later more Pengin dolls are seen on the shelf.
- Quotes
Gerald Brofloski: You see son, fads come and go. And this "Chinpokomon" is nothing more than a fad. You don't have to be a part of it. In fact, you can make an even stronger statement by saying to your peers, "I'm not going to be a part of this fad because I'm an individual." Do you understand?
Kyle: Yes, yes I do, Dad. Now let me tell you how it works in the real world. In the real world, I can either get a Chinpokomon, or be the only kid without one, which singles me out, and causes the other kids to make fun of me and kick my ass.
Gerald Brofloski: Hmm... good point. Here's ten dollars.

It's worth watching to see what you make of it. Also in response to the one other review here, POKEMON NEVER SUCKED. It didn't suck back then, and it certainly doesn't suck now! And it very much is still a fad, I suppose SP got that wrong this time.....
Go see "Chinpokomon" as it of course touches on the "Pokemon Shock" incident in 1997 too. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go buy Pokemon: Sword and Shield for the Switch..... ;)
