It's nice to see a very pretty, wholesome-looking woman, as "Mary" is in this episode. Mary is played by Donna Jo Gribble She only acted for a couple of years on TV, and that was it. The stars of this episode, however, are two men who play brothers. They are good brother "Jim" (Robert Lynn) and bad brother "Harry" (Francis de Sales)..
Harry comes up for a visit to Jim's cabin, in the wood near Gordon's Landing. He lives with his daughter Mary, who is glad to have some company for a change. However, her father isn't happy with "Uncle" appearing, as he has a very shady past and he wants no part of him and his crooked ways. Harry talks Jim into letting bygones-by-bygones.
The action perks up as soon as we find out Jim is still a crook (and a murderer). He and his partner Pete wind up making life miserable for their nice guests.
There are a couple of good twists here in this story, which make it an interesting one, and a challenge for Sgt. Preston.
