Such a heartfelt episode. It just shows that not only did Fools and Horses deal with comedy, but drama, too. I don't think there was a dry eye in Britain when this episode aired, especially the ending with Del talking to his mum. A put goosebumps moment. Timeless.

A wonderful episode of the show, with writer John Sullivan expertly combining broad comedy with touching heartfelt moments.
A lovely episode, the last of Series 7. After this the show would only return for Christmas Specials.

Del Boy Trotter is showing he is still upto snuff, as Peckham's Prime Mover and Shaker.
He is following his unearing business instincts and his unwavering propensity, in buying merchandise sight unseen.
Brother Dave is doing likewise, while wallowing in self pity, blaming others for his own failings, and remaining just as big a walley as ever.

It's a Rat!!

Raquel gives birth to baby Damien while Rodney and Cassandra work on their marriage. It's sweet and all but not as good as I remember and so not the funniest episode of the series. But Series 7 ends the way most people figured it would, with eyes very much set on the future.
