Oh Look--The Head of Judas Iscariot
Hitchcoc11 April 2023
Five priests on retreat show up at the Stratford. They just need a little time to think and do a little sightseeing and fishing. Meanwhile, George has become nearly intolerable with his moping (mostly it's cabin fever). Two people that don't know these guys are priests are Miss Goddard, the hot to trot librarian, and Stephanie, who shows her worst side to these guys. George decides that he should join the priesthood to give himself purpose in life. Two centerpieces to this episode are Miss Goddard offering herself to George before he leaves for his seminary training. We also have the boys showing up with a bag full of religious artifacts. One is what they consider the dismembered head of Judas Iscariot. It turns out that it is one of those touristy coconuts. It's a decent episode with some funny stuff in front of the uninformed.

Will George become a priest?

A group of priests on retreat stay at the inn and a depressed George wants to join the priesthood.

A funny episode for George and it is directed by Peter (Michael Harris) Scolari. One of the priests named Father Ken is played by James Hampton (most famous as Dobbs on "F Troop"). There is a funny scene as hot to trot Miss Goddard shows up looking for the five eligible bachelors at the inn. Larry and the Darryls also show Father Ken some religious relics they found.
