George in a love triangle

Joanna fixes George up with an antique dealer named Irma who ends up having a jealous ex boyfriend.

A funny episode with some good guest stars. Irma is played by Elinor Donahue (best remembered as the daughter Betty on "Father Knows Best"). A pre Seinfeld Jason Alexander plays a guest who gives tips for everything, Stephanie is the only one who is happy to accept them. Funniest scenes involve the tough ex boyfriend, who sees George all dressed up and calls him a pretty boy in a sport coat!

Three's Too Many

This episode focuses on George. There is a woman played by Elinore Donahue (Father Knows Best & The Andy Griffith Show) who runs an antique shop in a nearby town. Joanna thinks George would like her so she invites the lady over. She and George do hit it off but then things get ugly. While they are having dessert, a big guy comes in and says he will beat George up if he doesn't leave his girlfriend alone. He even come into the Stratford to challenge him. The other interesting appearance is a young Jason Alexander (thin with dark black hair) our favorite Seinfeld character. He has a wad of dollar bills which he uses to pay off anyone who does anything for him. He's pretty funny, but becomes a bit of a nuisance after a while.
