Great Episode

Very funny episode. Like in the classic malcolm style we have all the characters living through their own story while all at the same place.

I especially loved the "Reese" sidestoy, a harmless little analogy to modern dating preferences, nice acting. On the other hand te "Hal" sidestory was a little underdeveloped I was hoping for a nicer wrapup. I also have to applaud the ending. Such a warmhearted family moment was just amazing. For me, one of the top 10 epsiodes.

Tania Raymonde is listed as playing "Cynthia" in this episode. That is incorrect; she is not in this episode.

The Cynthia character first appears in Season 2, Episode 12, "Krelboyne Girl". She is introduced in that episode, which comes much later than this one.

IMDb should correct this error.

The episode itself is classic Malcolm. The family goes to a picnic, and creates havoc. Especially funny is Francis' relationship with Jody, who he meets, dates, breaks up with, and sees again, all in the space of this one picnic.
