Potter as Zombie

In the MASH version of Korea, it seems to be horribly cold or incredibly hot. In this episode it is sweltering and all the participants are one edge. Since they can't seep, they do all manner of things. Charles is doing his income taxes because his CPA has been thrown in jail. The Colonel takes a sleeping pill and is out cold. Margaret has the ultimate case of prickly heat and can't even sit down. Klinger is taking apart the intercom system so he can learn and get a job back in the states. B.J. is obsessed with a letter his wife sent him about fixing the gutters. His restlessness is driving Hawkeye crazy. All through the episode, they need to keep waking Potter up, except because of the sleeping pills, he is barely conscious, not knowing what he is saying half the time. This is a fun episode.

It's hot out there, especially in the 4077th. This is like a series of vignettes on a hot night where Charles attempts to sort out his taxes (it helps just in case he runs for higher office I guess). Margaret is desperate for medicine to help out her rash big time. We also learn the PA system is a Motorola.

Jeff Maxwell appears as Igor, and I love listening to his podcast MASH Matters, co-hosted with Jeff Maxwell.

Perren Page plays the driver. In fact he played the driver in several episodes of M*A*S*H, and he died not so long ago, on 2 May 2020.
