Nice simple episode

Michael Knight plans a rock-climbing holiday in small town White Rock. But it's far from peaceful when a biker gang rides into white rock harassing a hot looking store owner and her little brother Michael helps them out, but that is hindered when a coward sheriff arrests Knight for being an annoyance.

A simple tale of a lone guy taking on a bunch of hellions who plan to ransack the town. Sounds like a western. It's a pleasant undemanding episode with some good chase sequences. And Anne Randall who looks hot.

Climbing rocks and kicking butt

A rather leisurely episode as Micheal stumbles into a sleepy town that just so happens to be at the center of a turf war the same day he shows up, remarkable timing.

Anne Lockhart makes this a great ep

Ms. Lockhart's talent and beauty really made this a great ep. The Sheriff and the kid were pretty good as well.

This also showed a lot of Kitt's abilities which made it also a really great ep.

A run-of-the-mill biker story

GOOD DAY AT WHITE ROCK is a middling episode of KNIGHT RIDER, which is a bit worrying given that the show had only started a few weeks before. It feels very much like a typical A-TEAM villain of the week story, in which a gang of bikers terrorise a small town and Michael and KITT have to stop them. The action that plays out is okay, but you've seen it all before and it's very much a run-of-the-mill effort.

Good Day at White Rock

Around the time Knight Rider was first broadcast, the television series Quincy was in its final year where it had become an issue of the week show.

Quincy certainly would have had something worrying to say about Michael Knight. In the previous episode, a lone woman jumps into a car of a total stranger she just met while stranded. In this one, a little kid just goes for a ride with a strange man with a false identity in a flash black car.

Knight is planning to go rock climbing in the small town of White Rock. The local sheriff is afraid to take on a motorcycle gang who have come to town to cause trouble and plan to take on a rival bike gang. We know this gang is tough and care nothing for the rules, they have a black guy as a member!

Michael Knight takes it upon himself to clean the town up as the sheriff is incapable of it. The dastardly bikers even take the little kid hostage and tie him up to a tree.

I think by this time the producers run out of ideas as to what other special abilities that KITT had.
