This episode is kinda different

Warning: Spoilers
I haven't seen the episode before this, so I'm not sure if this is the first episode without Maggie, or if the one before this was...But, Maggie is now gone. I'm assuming she is on some sort of trip since Hank is apparently taking care of Stevie. At this point, it doesn't seem Stevie has a babysitter.

I must admit that I really like the Hank/Stevie episodes the best. We get to watch their characters develop. Stevie is quite comfortable with his Uncle, and I think they compliment each other really well, as they do in this episode. I like the little things - like Stevie sitting on the important paper Hank's looking for and Hank scolding him "Stevie!" I also like the way they seem to talk like father/son instead of Uncle/Nephew. Perhaps that's the characters that were allowed to develop since Maggie's no longer there.

I've often wondered if Maggie left because the actress no longer wanted the part, or if it was to develop the Uncle/nephew relationship more. I wonder if her role was always suppose to be a temporary thing...

Another thing that I liked was the built in babysitting techniques Hank and Stevie used. If there was a problem, Stevie simply had to call the station. The station, in turn would page Hank and tell him that Stevie needs him. "Stevie needs you." Doesn't that just sound so...I don't know...like a real family??? I REALLY like the Hank/Stevie stuff, but I didn't care for the Princess Rosa story, so I'll only give an 8 this time!
