Watching A.J. Langer in this episode put me in mind of Ado Annie from Oklahoma when she sings "other girls are coy and hard to get, but other girls
ain't having any fun".
Langer gives a lively performance as Sparta high school's number one ease who flirts with all and gives out to some. One boy she hasn't been able to shake is handsome and sensitive Walt Goggins. He's desperately in love with her and won't give her up. He's one of Althea Tibbs's troubled youths in counseling at Sparta High School. But AnneMarie Johnson can't stop the tragedy unfolding in fact right in front of her at the climax.
