Overall a good episode

Warning: Spoilers
Trying to atone for the one that got away is a good summary for this episode. I get where Ingrid is coming from and where Duncan is but you can't rid the world of evil no matter how hard you try. It will always exist.

The gem in this episode (besides my love affair with Methos) is the Inspector. "When I was a little boy the world was black and white good or evil...then I grew up and discovered the world was only grey."

I agreed with Ingrid

Warning: Spoilers
1. Mussetta Vander portrays Duncan's friend Ingrid Henning. They had worked together during the war to assassinate Adolf Hitler but the plan failed. Ever since Ingrid has been trying to knock off potential dictators here and there. This rubs Duncan the wrong way because he doesn't approve of immortals killing mortals, although he himself has killed plenty when he believed the reason is just. 2. Ingrid has a bomb ready to blow away white supremacist Alan Wilkinson, but Duncan will not let her proceed because the innocent members of Wilkinson's audience will die. I disagreed with Duncan here. I think those followers of Wilkinson are as bad as he is and they're not all that innocent. I liked this episode mainly because of the presence of Musetta Vander who in my opinion brightens up the screen in any story. It was a sad sorry shame that Duncan had to kill his friend as well as another gorgeous female immortal. This makes two female immortals killed by Duncan in the series. The first was Neferiri.

Episode Didn't Date Well

Warning: Spoilers
Just saw this episode after a period of years. It concerns an immortal who has taken it upon herself to kill any potential dictator before they come to power . She does this to redeem herself for failing to kill Adolf Hitler when she had had a chance to do so. Duncan MacLeod attempts to stop her.

Okay, my initial thoughts while watching this episode was how badly it has dated. I can't exactly put my finder on it, but I think the culprit is the television format itself. There just is no time to develop these characters and bond with any of them.

Another thing, in light of the vicious be headings by Arab Terrorists of innocent civilians and seeing this streamed from obscure Internet websites, I just can not look at the obligatory sword fight at the end of each "Highlander" episode the same way anymore. Duncan MacLeod, and the other immortals, are serial murderers. There is just no way around it!
