What a Bulldog!
Hitchcoc23 September 2019
This was pretty pedestrian, but the sports guy, Bulldog, is so crazy that it was quite delightful. He is a bonafide maniac. We also get to meet a few of the quirky characters at the station, for example, the road reporter who shouts because he has to talk over helicopter blades, even when they are not there. The plot is quite far fetched but it's a good deal of fun.

This is a real funny episode, the dangers of gossip! Great to see more supporting cast to. One thing that doesn't make sense is that it's stated that bulldog has been on the air for over 15 years as the biggest sports host and a national broadcaster, he also has bebe as an agent who somehow is able the keep frasier in the money so should easily top that with bulldogs given that bulldog does more adverts etc aswell as all the awards he'd won.. as the show progresses tho bulldog ends up delivering pizza to make money while unemployed while frasier is able to loan out money and continue to live in a huge apartment and pay for antiques and expensive luxury.. Bulldog on the other hand babysits and delivers pizza.. This is the evidence that the show had dropped in quality as they out no thought into the supporting cast.

Warning: Spoilers
This is another so-so episode for me, and marks a bit of dip in the quality of 'Frasier' from series One.

Other than Bulldog I don't remember any of this KACL radio crew sticking around for very long, and while they're funny, it's not hard to see why.

This episode is ok, it has its moments, but it's not overly funny, and the plot is something we've seen variations of already.

All the pieces are there for a great episode, it just for some reason or another doesn't gel together as you'd hope.

All in all, a decent if unspectacular episode, and one I probably wouldn't rush to watch again in the future.
