Why do so many people not like the later Frasiers? Niles becomes a little less whiny, less stuck up when he's with Daphne, who I never thought of as screechy, and Martin has mellowed dramatically. Oh well. This episode was one of my favorites. I love David Ogden Stiers, and he was great in this. I wish he was a recurring character.

Who's Your Daddy?

This is a rather touching episode. When a man named Leland shows up, we find he worked with the Crane boy's mother. When there are a series of mannerisms that parallel one another. it is suspected that this man may actually be their father. The conclusion is hilarious as well as an application for an exclusive private school is read.

One of the frustrating things about the latter years of 'Frasier' is that you get episodes like this. Ones that are full of quality, and show you that the writers were still very capable of pulling gems out of the hat.
Unfortunately, like all long-running shows, it was able to do so less regularly, and there are more dud outings you have to pick through in order to find them.
This though was very well-written and performed stuff, with a good plot, and some lovely moments.
There was heart to it as well, and this has been lost at times in the latter years of 'Frasier'. There's been no sense of drama driving it forward.
If more episodes were like this then people wouldn't feel it should have ended at the end of Series Seven quite so much.

One of the good episodes of this season.

I loved the show, there was just that feeling tho that they waited to long to bring niles and daphny together, meaning they had already given us the best episodes and rather than expand on their relationship, they just seemed very complacent afterwards, this episode however is a good one.. Great casting again. If the show had put niles and daphny together during the moon dance episode and built their relationship from there, then maybe we'd of got to see frasier and Martin all settle down but American shows seem to be a 1 trick pony when it comes to comedy.
Great episode, well worth watching..

Before they taped this episode. The pompous windbag frasier, the whining niles, the shrill screeching daphne, the grumpy old fool martin, and the smart ass roz have run their course by now, and from here one out its simply an embarrassment.
