No Fun Crane
Hitchcoc25 October 2019
Everyone is going to Belize, ready to have a nice time. Frasier can do nothing but complain and shout. Lana told him on the way to the airport that he didn't know how to have fun. He has been excited about being with Claire but he bullies everyone and acts childish. At the end, a late night phone call sets up the next season. I'm interested to see where Frasier lands.

Terrible season

Season 8 has to be the worst season of Frasier. Too many cheesy episodes, and many, many plot holes. This episode, in particular, was also no good

What happened to frasier.

In the beginning we are made to believe frasier is a hopeless romantic, as the show progressed tho his character became less and less likeable. Stunning woman continue to chase this aging snobbish shrink and yet nobody is ever good enough, clair was perfect for him, a believable character because she was smart, had the same interests, loved by his family and more, yet he throws her away for one of the worst characters the show ever had, tho that doesn't work out either. Rewatching the show I tend to avoid the episodes with fraiser and woman because it robbed the charm of the show watching him constantly womanise. Always dumping woman after sleeping with them. Let's face it, he's not exactly the greatest looking middle aged man out there an yet the writers threw countless woman at him. A real waste as we never get to see frasier grow as a character.

Warning: Spoilers
Well, if the rest of series eight was rubbish, why not make the finale of it rubbish too!

Quite why Frasier, the seemingly hopeless romantic prior, would rather be with the horrible abrasive Lana than Claire beggars belief, and it doesn't fit the character at all.

Nothing else really works here, in an episode that initially looked like it might see a return to the sort of farce that the show can do so well, before settling into the line of cheap and weak jokes that we've been subjected too throughout the eighth series in general.

The only thing that vaguely elevates it is the appearance of Lilith, and goodness knows we needed something good from what has been a dire collection of episodes in the eighth year of the show.

Loved Claire, she was perfect for

Frasier, or even too good for him. She's much better than any other women that he matched with, but he doesn't stay with her. Found this season less than compelling but loved Patricia Clarkson as Claire. Surely the waiters could have done better with her?

Frasier is so dislikable in this episode, fussy and selfish! And then he behaves in a completely stupid, crass way - sleeping with Claire and then dumping her to chase some other woman. Why didn't the writers ever sort out Frasier's problem with women? I despised the character of Frasier after this episode. He should gone and boiled his head!
