Ray thinks that Debra irritability can be traced to her monthly cycle. So he goes and buys her PMS pills that he thinks will solve her problems. He calls them her "ladies days" and that she loves to use them as her excuse when ever she is grouchy. But this only makes her more angry that he thinks he can throw pills at her and solve all her problems.
So she storms out to go shopping with Amy and leaves Ray with the kids.
Ray doesn't seem to realize that it is his being unthoughtful and unwilling to help around the house that is the real problem. What she really needs is for him to be more understanding. Instead, he decides to tape record her during one of her rants, which he plays back for her later. This of course makes her even angrier.
This is one of Debra's best episodes as she exhibits some of her best aggressive, maniacal acting. She is hilarious as her mood swings high, then low. Poor Ray doesn't stand a chance!
The ending is funny as well - Frank decides to use the recorder to tape Marie ranting at him. Instead, he only keeps playing back segments of his own rants at Marie!
