Tough story, good episode though.

Reg stops a young schoolgirl who's fleeing from a trio of kids, bruised and beaten, the young girl has some racist leaflets on her. Cato launches a crackdown on illegal parking.

The Neo Nazi element in this story is so unpleasant, and it's quit an upsetting story, sadly though such people exist even now. Around about series eight, the show was heavily focussed on episodes with a racist storyline, this has been the first one in a very long time.

Cato has launched yet another unpopular initiative, an amusing scene where George unwittingly tells Cato what he thinks of it. It's a rare episode where Cato actually comes across fairly well, I'm not a fan, but here he was ruthless.

The excellent Clive Merrison is always great, very good here as the unpalatable Taylor, it doesn't matter where he appears, Saving Grace, Dr Who or indeed here on The Bill, he's a cracking actor.

Unsavoury, but Sun Hill's finest do indeed get the scum off The Streets.

8/10.
