I found the pilot, written by the producer Ron Koslow, barely watchable and gave up for a long time, but eventually watched the first regular episode. Vastly better; writing matters. It even makes up for the horrible digitization. Mr Martin seems to have bad luck with pilots, but his writing here is even better than his occasional writing for the dramatization of his novel(s), _Game of Thrones_.

This episode can be said as one of the worst TV series episodes I've ever watched. It's so boring and nonsense. Vincent looks so stupid in this episode. I mean if you want to kill the black guy, then use the other way. And also letting Vincent fell off from the bridge? That was so stupid. Moreover, the contents of this episode is so thin and not clear. It's kind of unenjoyable. Hence, I'd say this episode isn't that much good unlike the first one.

Deserved 2 stars only.
