Jean is somewhat jealous of Lionel's secretary Daisy, and gets her replaced by Mrs Flack who is quite loyal and loves Lionel's custard tarts. This season 3 finale written by Bob Larbey (actually he wrote all the episodes) is a delight, and features Lionel's father and stepmother. There is a mediation of life and love. Michelle Joseph plays the nurse. At the end of the episode Lionel and Jean get takeaway, although if the series was rebooted, they would get someone to deliver the food on a bicycle.

Jean is getting seriously irritating
the_venetian14 October 2020
I like a lot about this series, but Jean's jealousy and insecurity is getting out of hand and is neither amusing or character-building. I dislike the episodes with her sister-in-law, where she feels compelled to lie all the time. But that at least is explained and makes a kind of sense The eternal jealousy is just unattractive. It make some episodes very boring.
