Jo Van Fleet here at her very best, and helped a lot by film maker Robert Ellis Miller, who was specialized in brilliant, intelligent and moving stories directing. This one makes no exception. Van Fleet plays a German woman refugee in Boston after WW2 where she lost her husband, died in a Nazi concentration camp. For this, she receives thirty pieces of silver from the new German government and refuses it, because this is for her, money of shame and dishonor. But surprises are not over for her. A very poignant topic with a superb action, which move audiences.
