ABC hasn’t officially canceled Bachelor In Paradise but one fan has a theory about the real reason it won’t air in 2024. Keep reading for more.
Huge Sign Bachelor In Paradise Won’t Air in 2024
Bachelor In Paradise began in 2014 as a fun summer show where Bachelor Nation alums hit the beach to hopefully find love. But in recent years, the show was pushed back to a September start date. In 2023, the show aired directly after the first-ever season of The Golden Bachelor.
Season 9 should have had a happy ending with three couples leaving the beach engaged or in a relationship. However, all three couples broke up almost immediately after leaving the beach.
As the months since the November 2023 finale passed with no word of a Season 10, fans grew concerned. Many blamed low ratings and the multiple breakups as a possible reason the show wouldn’t air this year.

Alfonso Ribeiro is a star because of his role in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He played Carlton, the yuppie who made a cringeworthy dance trend famous. However, while he knows he owes everything to Carlton, Ribeiro also said the role ruined his acting career.
here is what Alfonso Ribeiro said about his mixed feelings about playing Carlton on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Alfonso Ribeiro Says Carlton Was The Worst Thing That Happened To Him
Alfonso Ribeiro starred as Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for its entire run. That was six seasons and 148 episodes. The show made Will Smith a star and helped catapult him into a hugely successful movie career. However, for Alfonso, his career went in the other direction thanks to that popular sitcom role.
In an interview with Closer Weekly, Ribeiro said his role as Carlton was the greatest thing that ever happened to him.

In a new interview with Closer Weekly, Alfonso Ribeiro said his iconic role in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air as Carlton Banks was a “sacrifice” for his acting career.
“Playing Carlton on ‘Fresh Prince’ became a sacrifice. I used to always say doing Carlton was the greatest and worst thing that ever happened to me,” Ribeiro said.
“It was one of the greatest roles that I ever was fortunate enough to play. But it was also the role that stopped me from acting again because people couldn’t see me as anything else. The sacrifice was not having an acting career anymore.”
Despite that downer of a sentiment, Ribeiro does have favorite memories from filming.

ABC is switching up its schedule in a big way come fall 2024, and it’s bad news for some of our favorite series.
The Rookie, which has been bounced around the schedule in recent years, won’t return for Season 7 until 2025.
An exact timeline for the show’s return has not been determined, but it will have an 18-episode order, which is pretty good when considering the delayed start.
ABC plans to air those 18 episodes uninterrupted. Will Trent, which has been renewed for Season 3, is also getting the same treatment.
The biggest shocker on the fall schedule is the decision to bump Grey’s Anatomy to the 10/9c slot after spinoff Station 19 ends its run.
The news comes following a budget cut for the long-running medical drama, which will reduce the number of series regulars per episode.

Witney Carson‘s longstanding dance career is not over yet. The former Dancing With the Stars partner, lifestyle blogger, mother of two, and now Gatorade Water ambassador hinted that she’s going to be in talks with the reality dance competition series about potentially rejoining the fold for their upcoming 33rd season. Carson spoke with TV Insider about her relationship with the show over the years. “I think right now, it’s always calling my name. I love the show. No matter how old I am or how many times I’ve done it, you always have an urge to do it,” said Carson. The 30-year-old dancer first joined DWTS in 2013 as a troupe dancer in Seasons 16 and 17. In Season 18, she was promoted to professional partner. “So we’ll see what our life looks like in the next few months because I know they start late in the year so...

After announcing what shows from its current roster have been renewed or canceled last week, ABC has revealed its full lineup for its Fall 2024 programming. As previously announced, unscripted programs Celebrity Jeopardy, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Dancing With the Stars, American Idol, and more have been renewed for new seasons, though the latter will experience a big change when Katy Perry doesn’t return as a judge in its eighth season at ABC (23rd overall). To no one’s surprise, The Bachelor has also been renewed for Season 29. Shark Tank and What Would You Do? will also be coming back for more. As for its scripted programming, the Emmy-winning powerhouse that is Abbott Elementary will be back for Season 4 (it scored an early renewal in February), The Conners has been renewed for a seventh and final season, and Not Dead Yet was sadly canceled after two seasons. “The Golden Bachelor was probably the television event last year,” ABC TV Group President Craig Erwich said in an interview with Deadline on the day of the Disney upfront presentation. The Bachelor offshoot was so successful, it spawned a highly rated special, The Golden Wedding.
But just three months after Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist tied the knot, they filed for divorce having never lived together. The controversy raised questions about the future of the franchise whose previously ordered spinoff, The Golden Bachelorette, premieres this fall.
The Golden Bachelor is not going anywhere, Erwich suggested.
“I think Golden Bachelor is a show that’s about finding love at a later age. It’s incredibly root-able, it’s aspirational, and that franchise and those values extend to a lot of different people and a lot of different stories. So we’re very dedicated to this franchise,” he said.

Well, if you had tried to get us to guess the ABC 2024-25 fall season announcement, we couldn’t have predicted much of it.
There are new shows sprinkled throughout, but ABC is going almost full reality, which is a choice.
Let’s see what we’ve got to work with here.
Two new shows will interest TV Fanatics: High Potential, starring Kaitlin Olson, which was delayed due to the strikes, and Doctor Odyssey, starring Joshua Jackson as a cruise ship doctor.
High Potential gets a 10/9c slot on Tuesdays after Dancing with the Stars.
Despite the relationship disaster of The Golden Bachelor, ABC is dedicating an hour and a half weekly to The Golden Bachelorette while snuggling award-winning comedy Abbott Elementary between that and a docuseries called Scamanda.
Thursdays find Doctor Odyssey after 9-1-1 and before Grey’s Anatomy.
And TV Fanatic favorites The Rookie and Will Trent? Saved for midseason.

ABC will once again have Abbott Elementary as a centerpiece of its Wednesday night in 2024-25 — but it will begin the season without any companion comedies.
The Emmy-winning series will move back a half-hour to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, with The Golden Bachelorette (which will run 90 minutes each week, up from an hour for The Golden Bachelor last fall) as its lead-in. The rest of ABC’s comedy offerings for 2024-25 — including the final season of The Conners — will come in the second half of the season.

ABC is doubling down with Ryan Murphy on Thursday nights. The Alphabet network revealed a fall 2024 schedule on Tuesday that features the Murphy’s “9-1-1” and newcomer “Doctor Odyssey” on Thursday nights.
The move now turns the night — long the home for Shonda Rhimes’ hit “Tgit” franchises, into a bit of a “Tgim” — “Thank God It’s Murphy” — and shifts “Grey’s Anatomy” to 10 p.m.
Also, the network revealed that it is going with an “Abbott Elementary” island on Wednesdays, sandwiched between a 90-minute format for “The Golden Bachelorette” and then the unexpected, previously unannounced true crime ABC News docuseries “Scamanda.”
But don’t fret for “Abbott,” says Disney Television Group president Craig Erwich. He tells Variety that after the success of “The Golden Bachelor” in the fall, lead-in from “The Golden Bachelorette” will “position it to continue to garner both audience as well as the critical claim that it so deserves.

Fox will show a new side — or rather, all sides — of a group of male celebrities in an upcoming special.
The network has signed up Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs, NFL All-Pro Chris Jones, Tyler Posey, Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli and James Van Der Beek to take part in The Real Full Monty. The two-hour special, set to air in the fall, will raise awareness for prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer testing and research — and end with the troupe performing a striptease act.
The Real Full Monty is based on a series of British TV specials, which in turn are inspired by the 1997 movie The Full Monty, about a group of regular guys who form a male striptease act.
“Don’t die of embarrassment. Get checked! That’s the message behind The Real Full Monty special,” said Anderson, who’s also an executive producer. “I am honored...
