Hugo is just fantastic in this bit!

He's very funny and lines are so well delivered the neighbour never sees it coming!

A very funny short film - if you're a Hugo fan - this is definely a must see for any fan!!

Amusing sketch-style short film (SPOILERS)
bob the moo14 October 2007
Warning: Spoilers
For whatever reason Bob has not had sex with his wife Sue for quite sometime, despite her very obvious come-ons on a regular basis. He only seems to have energy for fixing up his car, which in bits on the drive. One morning after another dodged sex session, Bob is pondering over his car when he is offered help by his neighbour Frank, who is apparently a former mechanic as well as a bit of a letch.

This film is a simple sketch around mistaken identity and basically it has one central action that drives the comedy. This is (and I did say spoilers earlier) the fact that Sue mistakes Frank under the car for Bob and proceeds to give him oral relief, while under the car Frank is assuming that it is Bob going down on him in response to the heavy handed flirting he had been laying down. This mistake produces some innuendo and comedy and it did amuse me to a point. It isn't hilarious really but it is funny, however it is the delivery that makes it funnier than it might have been if delivered flat.

The direction is comic but it is Weaving (who seems to do everything sometimes) who makes the film with a wonderfully letchy and obvious character at the centre of the confusion. He plays it up a little and accordingly Brown and Carides play it straight (so to speak) and feed the sense of misunderstanding. Not hilarious then but it is funny as a short sketch of a film.
