A light hearted middle class couple story
cseabhi7 July 2021
Raja(Sanjeev Kumar) and Asha(Moushami Chatterjee) meets on a bus and Raja produces a 100 rupee note to buy a 50 paisa bus ticket. Conductor makes fun of him. Asha pays for Raja's bus ticket and now Raja wants to return the money. The scene would look familiar to many people, it was recreated in Phir Hera Pheri by Akshay Kumar.

Raja and Asha eventually comes close to each other and is married now, with two children and the story fast forward. Raja is not happy with his income and there are many problem that arises due to lack of money and resouces. Asha then decides to get a job and Raja stays at home to look after the kids. But the story is not that simple and not completely happy.

The basic plot of movie is just that. No great twist and turn. It's just a story of a common middle class couple trying hard for a better living and the difficulties they come across.

It's the portrayl of a couple which both the actors Sanjeev Kumar and Moushami Chatterjee perform with great conviction. They look great together and looks so natural. It's like we are watching the real story of two couple on screen.

There is humor and that works great with the plot of movie and Sanjeev Kumar is just brilliant in portraying different moods in the movie, the confused, serious, frustrated and comic.

Songs are good, not great but gels with the story.
