Travis Kelce is following in the footsteps of Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan by hosting a game show that features celebrities.
With that recent news, Strahan seems ready to assist Kelce in preparing him to host the new game show.
Kelce is reportedly adding that to his accomplishments, which include winning several Super Bowl rings with the Kansas City Chiefs, appearing on Saturday Night Live, and dating Taylor Swift.
After spending his career with just one team, the New York Giants, Strahan moved into various business ventures and television projects.
Those TV gigs include his work as an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday, co-anchor on ABC’s Good Morning America, and host of ABC’s rebooted The $100,000 Pyramid.
With that experience in hosting, he might be able to provide valuable insight to Kelce for his upcoming gig.

Pro Football Hall of Famer and TV host Michael Strahan is among the many people mourning and recognizing actor Carl Weathers upon recent news of his passing.
The 76-year-old actor appeared in many roles, including Apollo Creed in the Rocky films and Greef Karga in Disney+’s Star Wars series, The Mandalorian.
On Friday, media outlets reported Carl Weathers’ death, and many individuals reacted with their thoughts about how he impacted their lives.
Like Strahan, Weathers has a football background. He played for San Diego State in college and briefly for the Oakland Raiders in the NFL before joining Canada’s BC Lions for several years in the early 1970s.
Following his days playing football, Weathers took on roles in movies and television, including one that included Strahan as a co-star.
In a tribute post, Strahan described Weathers as an “inspiration” in his career as he moved from the football...

It seems as though the past few years have brought a resurgence of game shows, which were once a staple of both daytime and primetime television viewing. As a kid, I relished snow days and sick days when I could miss school and curl up on the sofa to watch all my favorites – “Pyramid,” “Family Feud” and “Password” were just a few. Every day after school I rushed through my homework so that I’d have time to watch “Tattletales” and “Tic Tac Dough.”
Game shows go all the way back to the days of radio, with one such program becoming the first game show to air on broadcast television – “Truth or Consequences” debuted on July 1, 1941, and before long the genre became a popular form of entertainment. All “Big Three” networks carried a variety of game shows on both daytime and primetime schedules until their popularity began to fizzle in the ’80s and ’90s.

It was a relatively busy night for the broadcast networks, featuring several premieres.
We'll start with Magnum P.I.
The canceled drama returned with 3.5 million viewers and a 0.3 rating.
The series is up a bit in the demo and total viewers vs. its April midseason finale, and with word-of-mouth strong, there's a good chance the series can grow from here.
What a difference a decent timeslot makes, am I right?
Quantum Leap Season 2 kicked off earlier in the night at 2.9 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in the demo.
The time-traveling drama reached its best total viewer tally since its series premiere in September 2022.
Related: Magnum P.I. Was Destined for Success on NBC, so Why Did NBC Fail It?
The demo tally is on par with its freshman average, so maybe this move to the earlier timeslot could secure the show's future.

Shelley Smith, the statuesque super model who starred alongside Martin Short on a sitcom and was a regular on game shows like The $10,000 Pyramid before she launched an egg-donor program to assist infertile couples, has died. She was 70.
Smith died Tuesday at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, her husband of 18 years, actor Michael Maguire, tearfully announced on social media. She had been in a coma after experiencing cardiac arrest three days earlier, and her health had deteriorated in the past year, he said.
On the 1979-80 ABC comedy The Associates, a sequel of sorts to The Paper Chase from creators James L. Brooks, Ed. Weinberger, Stan Daniels and Charlie Hauck, Smith played a sharp, upper-class Bostonian who works at a Wall Street law firm.
The show, which also featured Short, Joe Regalbuto, Alley Mills and Wilfrid Hyde-White — with whom she graced the cover of TV Guide in November 1979 — lasted just 13 episodes.

Almost a year and a half after the Astroworld tragedy, Travis Scott has once again found himself with issues regarding his creative decisions.
Last week, the rapper announced in an Instagram post that he would be streaming a performance of music from his new album, Utopia, from the Pyramid of Giza on July 28.

“Since the General Syndicate is part of the fabric of this beloved country it is keen on its stability and refuses to tamper with societal values and Egyptian and Arab customs,” the Syndicated stated. “Based on research and documented information about strange rituals at...

Tickets were selling for 6,500 Egp, roughly $210, and were reportedly sold out.
The Egyptian Syndicate of Musical Professions, however, has reportedly issued a statement, canceling Scott’s show because of his “satanic” beliefs, in addition to “ensure[ing] the safety and protection of the audience.”
“Since the General Syndicate is part of the fabric of this beloved country it is keen on its stability and refuses to tamper with societal values and Egyptian and Arab customs,” the Syndicated stated. “Based on research and documented information about strange rituals at...

ABC is prepared for a long writers strike. The alphabet network has announced its schedule for the Fall portion of the upcoming 2023-24 broadcast television year and, for the first time, there aren't any original dramas or comedies shows on it.
Since it's unknown how long the WGA strike will delay the production of scripted series, ABC has decided to play it safe and focus on reality and game shows. Press Your Luck, which had been slated to return in June, has been held for fall.
Returning shows for fall include The $100,000 Pyramid (season six continues), 20/20 (season 46), America's Funniest Home Videos (season 34), Bachelor in Paradise (season nine), Celebrity Jeopardy! (season two), Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (season four), Dancing with the Stars (season 32), Judge Steve Harvey (season two continues), Press Your Luck (season five), Shark Tank (season...

With no sign of the Hollywood Writers Strike concluding, ABC has responded with a strike-proof schedule.
The closest thing to scripted we're getting is Abbott Elementary reruns.
Yes, this is by far the most shocking schedule for the fall in a long time.
Dancing With the Stars returns to its Mondays at 8 p.m. home in the fall, paired with -- wait for it -- The Golden Bachelor.
That's right, folks. The long-gestating aged-up version of The Bachelor has landed a series order and will replace The Good Doctor.
If the network is already thinking of replacing fall shows with reality, then there's a good chance we'll be getting fewer episodes of the shows when they eventually bow at midseason.
Tuesdays will feature Celebrity Jeopardy! and Bachelor in Paradise.
On Wednesdays, Abbott Elementary encores will air between Judge Steve Harvey and What Would You Do?
Thursdays will consist of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,...

ABC on Tuesday became the third broadcast network (after CBS and NBC) to unveil its schedule for the Fall TV season — and it’s a jaw-dropper.
In what can only be viewed as a foreboding sign about the potential duration of the current writers’ strike, the network’s fall schedule is comprised entirely of unscripted fare (save for a pair of Abbott Elementary reruns on Wednesday).

ABC is taking a realistic approach to its fall schedule given the current writers strike, leaning into unscripted titles such as the return of Dancing with the Stars and a new Bachelor spinoff.
The network has unveiled its schedule ahead of its Upfront presentation that has no original scripted titles, instead saving them for a hopeful midseason bow.
Other unscripted series on in the fall include Celebrity Jeopardy, Bachelor in Paradise keeps its fall spot, having previously been a summer favorite, Judge Steve Harvey, ABC News’ What Would You Do, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Press Your Luck, The $100,000 Pyramid, Shark Tank and America’s Funniest Home Videos.
ABC is the only broadcast network to have a fully strike proof schedule, with CBS unveiling one with plenty of scripted series, while NBC also has a slew of scripted shows such as Night Court and Quantum Leap, although the latter says that it is in “good shape,...

ABC is leaning all the way into its unscripted roster with a fall schedule that, amid uncertainty about production during the writers strike, features no new scripted shows.
The schedule is the most strike-proof of the three announced by broadcast networks during the upfronts. CBS presented a mostly business-as-usual lineup, and NBC showed a slate with a mix of unscripted shows and already filmed scripted series, but also some shows that can’t move ahead until the strike ends. (Fox, as it did last year, is holding off on announcing a fall lineup.)
With a fairly deep bench of unscripted competitions and game shows, ABC opted to go for original programming that it knows will air for 18 of its 22 primetime hours a week. The only exceptions are a one-hour block of Abbott Elementary reruns on Wednesday nights and a Wonderful World of Disney movie night on Sundays.

Welcoming twins into the family means double the diaper duty, but also twice the fulfillment, according to Michael Strahan.
“I love being a father. It’s absolutely the most joy you’re going to have in your life,” Strahan, 45, told People Thursday in N.Y.C. before receiving a Father of the Year award from The National Father’s Day Committee. “It’s also the most stress you’re going to have.”
The former NFL player and current Good Morning America co-anchor has four children of his own: 12-year-old twins Isabella and Sophia, 22-year-old Michael Jr., and Tanita, 25.

Michael Strahan never realized he could make it as a football player – let alone as a television host. His parents Gene and Louise Strahan, on the other hand, had no doubts about their son's potential.
"I never knew I could accomplish so much," Strahan, 44, tells People in this week's issue. "But my parents never act surprised. They look at me as if there's no limit. That helped me feel like there's no limit."
He's certainly proven that to be true. In addition to his new role as co-host of Good Morning America, he's also got a job hosting a game...
