Trent is the owner of Amsterdam-based OAK Motion Pictures: an acclaimed production company whose filmography includes successes such as CAN GO THROUGH SKIN by Esther Rots at the 2009 Berlinale, HUNTING & SONS by Sander Burger at the prestigious New Directors/New Films Festival at MoMA in New York in 2010, VILLEGAS by Gonzalo Tobal at Cannes IFF in 2012 and short film HOLD ON by Charlotte Scott-Wilson, winner of the Oscar-qualifying Tribeca Film Festival in 2016. John Trengove's THE WOUND and Isabella Eklöf's HOLIDAY were critically acclaimed at Sundance in 2017 and 2018, with THE WOUND also making the Oscar shortlist in 2018. SATAN SAID DANCE by Kasia Roslaniec was spotlighted at 2018's South by Southwest (SXSW). SPEAK NO EVIL by Christian Tafdrup captivated audiences at Sundance 2021, with an impending U.S. remake starring James McAvoy and helmed by Blumhouse and Universal. NARCOSIS by Martijn de Jong emerged as the Dutch Oscar entry for Best Foreign Feature Film in 2022, playing at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, securing 8 international awards and featuring the remarkable Thekla Reuten (THE AMERICAN, RED SPARROW, WARRIOR NUNS).
