Flashbacks, hippies, bankers and Angela Davis
UnknownDoomer26 March 2024
Melodrama, diluted with criminal aspects and peculiar humor. An unlucky cook named Farah refuses his inheritance in the form of a bank and an account with a round sum. This situation, on the one hand, does not suit an old, but now cynical, acquaintance who was left behind, as well as a blonde who happened to turn up with a sick son in the person of Kristina Orbakaite, who urgently needs money. An acquaintance of the main character decides to take advantage of this fact in his own way, but everything does not go according to plan.

The main plot and generally short running time are diluted with regular flashbacks to the early seventies. Farah's difficult childhood, combined with personnel for the struggle for black rights in the person of Angela Davis and local representatives of the hippies, who also found a place in modern times.

There are a lot of flashbacks, the logic sags in places, the action periodically slips into farce, but the overall level is more or less maintained.
