Will almost catches Catherine with Rev. Glenn. Glenn's wife arrives in town. Catherine's lies pile up. Lily accepts a date from the therapist's son Charlie. Tom grows concern and reports Henry missing.
George announces Will as the next publisher and Robert is angry especially at Catherine. She's secretly helping Henry which angers Lily who continues her investigation into Philip Parker. Nate is desperate for $2k and blows up at a party.
After Henry digs up the bones, Lily calls the police. When they get there, Robert had already taken the bones away. Only Nate believes them. Lily is kept drugged up by her parents. Henry goes missing. Nate is ostracized and goes into rehab.
Lily pretends to submit and accepts to see therapist Dr. Darwell. She recruits Jennie in her investigation. Catherine tells Nate the 'truth' and he switches side to Lily's horror. Catherine seduces Rev. Glenn.
Jennie pursues Nate who is now living with his parents. He recalls seeing Meredith's dead body in the pool. Catherine schemes against Henry. He sneaks Lily out to interview an old reporter who connects Meredith's death to the family.
Henry escapes from murderous Robert. Henry and Lily tries to steal the tapes but Charlie stops them. Will is leaving Catherine but George threatens to fire him. Robert gets into a fight with Tom and accidentally kills him.
Lily McAllister is alone at her family's Pasadena mansion one night. She is confronted by a crazy stranger. She escapes to the bathroom. There's a gun shot. The man is presumed to be mentally unstable and committed suicide.
George is angry with Will at the paper and intends to replace him with Robert. Catherine turns Tom against his brother Henry and then gets Henry expelled. Nate is desperate to find the buried body and tells Henry.
Henry returns and explains why he disappeared. Nate claims his place at the paper. At couples counselling Catherine is forced to confess a secret. Among Dr. Darwell's old files Lily finds old tapes, which reveal who had killed Meredith.
Lily is taken with Henry. She confronts her mother over Philip Parker. Catherine eventually reveals that he was her best friend's boyfriend and she made him a pariah for suspicion of killing her. Will confesses his affair to Catherine.
