Here's another super-cheapie and overall mediocre grindhouse porn from back-in-the day. There's nothing to separate this film from countless others of it's kind. There are a lot of really notable "classic" and roughie porn films out there - INNOCENT GIRL, thought not a terrible film, isn't one of them.
A girl comes to New York from Kansas City to be with her boyfriend and ends up "befriending" a pimp whose intention is of course to turn her out. She's forced into whoring which is kinda fun to watch. One scene involves a john (who I'm pretty sure is Robert Kerman of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST fame) and his pal "George", who actually turns out to be a chick in disguise (?!?!). Eventually, Innocent Girl escapes the brothel with another hooker with the help of her boyfriend...
INNOCENT GIRL had some potential but didn't really use it. The little bit of storyline that was present didn't make sense and was not "realized" very well at all. The only scene that was even slightly whackable was a three-way between Innocent Girl, Kerman, and "George" - the rest are dull. Watchable for fans of this sort of thing, but I'd stick to more interesting fare - you could easily pass on this one...5/10
