Sex & Nudity

  • A man and woman have sex. There is a lot of movement, and you see the woman's bare breasts, but none of the man's private parts. The scene lasts for about thirty seconds and is quite graphic.
  • A man and woman lie in bed together covered by the covers and the sheets. It is implied that they have had sex.

Violence & Gore

  • A fist fight occurs between the lead, who has an intellectual disability, and a supporting character.
  • One character is involved in an explosive car accident. He somehow escapes, alive and unburned, but does end up in a wheelchair.
  • A woman slaps her boyfriend for making an offensive comment about a person with an intellectual disability.

Profanity

  • Several uses of "fuck." Many instances of "retarded." A woman finds her son in bed with a young lady and calls her "slut," "whore," etc.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A woman unsuccessfully attempts suicide by overdosing on over-the-counter drugs and contact lens solution. She throws up everything afterwards.
  • Towards the end where Carolyn is talking to her roommate at the table, you can see a man rolling either a joint or a cigarette.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The whole film takes on a disturbing, almost surreal atmosphere.
  • A good portion of this film explores the extremes of sorority and fraternity life. The characters' ignorance and cultural insensitivity is comedically over-the-top and can come across as offensive at times.
  • The insensitivity shown toward characters with intellectual disabilities is pretty cringeworthy.
