- An African American man wanders the sewers and discovers a crack around the bricks but is too late to escape as the sewer tunnel caves in on him caused by the sinkhole. His body is later found by the rescue team but he's pronounced dead.
- A mother and a daughter gets in the car only to realize it's sinking, they quickly climb out of the car and escape unharmed.

- As the police on horseback tries to cancel the Mardi Gras parade, people protest and throw objects at the police and the swat team police force fights the crowd and pushes them back and the riot breaks out. The people run away in panic and a sinkhole collapse occurs, only one of the parade floats falls into the sinkhole and a group of people and the building collapses leaving many people injured or dead.
