I saw this film in an art house in Dublin, Ireland. It represents a coming of age story that smacks of Y Tu Mama Tambien. It is in your face sexuality of a teen trying to come to grips with the world. It doesn't surprise me that many people haven't seen the film, and I am surprised strong stories like these every see the light of day. On the other hand, it details the emergence of a young man as an individual, separate from his parents, defining himself. I would really like to see more from this director as well as be able to get this film on DVD.

I just finish reading the book in which this movie is based! Its narrative is so great, I could not stop laughing and you can not stop reading this coming to age story.

The film was in cinemas for a short time in Mexico City and "caned" until now, I want to see the movie when available I hope is as good as the book.

The story goes along an teenager, 13 in the book, who lives in a fantasy world, in which he wants realize his desire to make love for the first time, and hes is planing all his life so he will be able to have every woman he wants. For now he has fallen in love with a school girl that he has not been brave enough to even talk to her and being happy to see her in a safe distance. One summer day his father sent him to find a school so he can become someone one day, but he instead decides to make his "girlfriend" a visit in the town she is expending summer vacations, then all his adventures began and surpass any fantasy he ever had!
