Gary Graver (aka Robert McCollum) did some fine soft core work in the 90's and 2000 era but his staple of X films sometimes promised a hotter premise than it delivered on. Ecstasy Girls II follows the plan of the first film in that Jamie Gillis is now sent on a mission to find the missing heir of JC's estate, Laura. JC was the zealous fundamentalist they failed to embarrass with explicit films of his daughters in the first movie because Gillis fell in love so he didn't want his encounter shown in the films. Gillis, Paul Thomas and John Leslie (What a cast!) do fine seducing Stacy Donovan and Heather Wayne among many others. Graver films them in a catch all of unusual and exciting positions which could have led to some earth shattering climaxes, but we are let down with very quiet jack off scenes, rarely polished off with any oral contact. Veronica Hart is an always clothed sour Madame holding the key to the mystery. Heather Wayne is lucky to have sex with both John Leslie and Gillis in the same movie. She was a bashful frequent player who retired shortly afterward, rumored to be hooked on cocaine. If you must, buy or rent this on DVD from a reliable place because video player versions have the sound running out of sync.
