Bored and neglected housewife Stella (an appealing portrayal by pretty slender blonde Nancy Dare) no longer feels that her workaholic husband Ronald (a solid performance by Bobby Astyr) cares about her, so she decides to start working as a hooker at a Times Square prostitution ring.
Writer/director Ralph Ell keeps the engrossingly sordid story moving along at a brisk pace, makes nice use of grungy New York City locations, maintains a suitably seamy tone throughout, and sprinkles in lots of paint-peeling profanity for good measure. The sex scenes are quite raunchy and graphic, with an interracial BDSM set piece and an arousing lesbian sequence which includes the ever-bubbly and vibrant Annie Sprinkle standing out as especially hot highlights. Dare and Astyr do praiseworthy work in the leads while Turk Turpin acquits himself well as smooth pimp Big Tom. Good seedy fun.
