  • A decaying body is shown in it's coffin covered in maggots.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Two ghosts go to hell. There are red, writhing snakes and worms. The snakes go in their mouths and tangle their bodies and the pedal closes in.
  • A murderer is revealed to be executed in the electric chair for murdering 12 people.
  • A man's two ghost friends fight with "Death" to keep him from killing a woman. One of them is crushed and his "soul" is taken.
  • Ghosts scare the parents by making the babies fly.
  • Frank smacks Judge with his hand on Judge's mouth
  • Judge says his joints are getting powdery.
  • One particular ghost who is from the 19th century has a missing stomach and exposed spine bone. Organs are not seen.
  • A corpse who died of a heart attack is seen in the museum with a crowd of tourists.
  • There is a mention in a documentary that Johnny was speaking while getting 2200 volts zapped in his head on the electric chair
  • The cloaked- figure (The Soul Collector) goes after people who have a number carved into their heads (only seen by Frank, although they aren't graphic). He is then seen plunging his hand into the victims chests and squeezing their hearts (which kills them instantly).
  • The Soul Collector also slaughters other ghosts with an extremely large scythe, this slices them in half or kills them in another violent manner... but however, no red blood is seen, they usually just explode in a gooey mess.
  • In a repeated flashback, we see a car fly off the road at high speed and then tumble down a hill. Each time we see the flashback, it reveals more. Like a dead woman's body lying on the ground with a number carved into her head, then we a girl holding the knife that did it, and we also see a ghost lying over her body and plunge his had into her chest (non-graphically).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The whole last sequence in Patricia's home (where Johnny comes out of a painting after Lucy) and then into an old dilapidated hospital where Patricia tries to kill Lucy and Bannister is very suspenseful and spooky.
