Sex & Nudity

  • At a festival in the beginning, a man says "check out the melons on that belly dancer".
  • A woman is implied to have been raped. It is referenced a few times, and at one point, the villain who raped her tells her that she was "good in bed". The rape is never shown though.

Violence & Gore

  • At the beginning, a group of bad guys ambush a truck full of agents, and shoot up the truck from the outside. Later, another good guy opens the truck, and finds the bodies of the dead agents. Very bloody/violent.
  • Two men get into a lengthy martial arts fight in a house, with lots of punching and kicking, and it ends when one of them gets knocked into a protruding blade and is impaled. Some blood can be seen.
  • The main villain stabs a woman in the stomach, and she dies, and blood can be seen on her shirt. The main protagonist rushes up and kicks the villain, and beats him up.
  • There's a MASSIVE battle when the rest of the Delta Force come in and raid the drug empire, and there's lots of shooting/death. This scene goes on for a long time.
  • A soldier shoots a bad guy in the chest, and a small blood spurt can be seen, and another soldier fights a bad guy hand-to-hand, and kills him.
  • A helicopter flown by the good guys shoots up a drug farm and kills a bunch of bad guys.
  • The main villain shoots a villager in the head, execution-style, but this is seen from a distance, and not much can be made out aside from the body falling over.
  • Assassins break into a home and shoot a woman in the head off-screen. Her corpse is later seen slumped against a wall, with blood spattered on the wall. Pretty bloody/violent.
  • McCoy beats up a group of punks in a restaurant at the beginning.
  • McCoy trains with other soldiers in a combat circle, in which he stands in the center of a circle of soldiers, and one-at-a-time, a soldier steps in to spar with him. Not brutal or violent.
  • During the lengthy final raid/battle scene, McCoy and another soldier take the main villain captive, and commandeer a truck, and drive it through the jungle, being chased by bad guys.
  • Sneaking into the villain's mansion, McCoy, punches a man at a computer twice and knocks him out, and breaks another man's neck.
  • It is talked about that the main villain killed a woman's husband ad baby, raped her, and used the baby to carry drugs.
  • A man is shown being tortured in a gas chamber.

Profanity

  • Cinemax content advisory: rated R for violence (V), adult language (AL), and adult content (AC).
  • 3 uses of 'fuck' (one hard to hear), 11 uses of 'shit', 8 uses of 'bitch', 9 uses of 'damn' (5 paired with "God"), 6 uses of 'hell', 2 uses of 'Jesus' and 'Jesus Christ' collectively as exclamation, 2 uses of "oh my God", and 1 use of 'piss'.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Drugs are one of the main themes of the movie.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The villain's treatment of his workers and the villagers can be intense, specifically the execution of a villager, and the implied rape of a woman, and the murder of her husband and baby.
  • The violence can be rather disturbing at times, although little of it is condoned in the movie.
