[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Reservation Dogs Season 3, Episode 10, “Dig.”] Reservation Dogs may only feature 28 episodes, but its impact will far exceed its runtime. This is especially true after delivering a delightfully satisfying conclusion to a flawless three-season run with the moving finale installment, “Dig.” The episode co-written and directed by series creator Sterlin Harjo follows the Reservation Dogs, Bear (D’Pharaoh Woon-a-Tai), Elora (Devery Jacobs), Willie Jack (Paulina Alexis), and Cheese (Lane Factor) as they join their community to bid Old Man Fixico (Richard Way Whitman) farewell. The celebration of life pulls together the aunties, elders, and fan favorites on the fringes (like Kirk Fox’s Kenny Boy) of Okern for a fantastic ensemble episode that places each of the core four characters on their destined paths. Willie Jack kicks off the episode with a visit to her aunt Hokti (Lily Gladstone) who viewers will remember from Season 2’s powerful entry, “Offerings.” Telling Hokti about...

The 90s get a bad rap as far as horror movies go. Without the 90s we would have missed out on such films as Candyman, Scream, and the original It miniseries. Let’s be real, all of us of a certain generation hate clowns now because of that miniseries. Thanks a lot Tim Curry. One thing the 90s had going for it was the re-emergence of the slasher boom. In the 80s you couldn’t walk into a video store without being overwhelmed with slasher films. Everyone was trying to cash in on the goodwill that the 1978 Halloween movie had given us. When Friday the 13th showed that you...

Nature Sounds has released a new track, “Vice Grip,” from late Blackalicious rapper Gift of Gab. The song will appear on the Mc’s upcoming posthumous album, Finding Inspiration Somehow, out September 10th.
“Vice Grip” finds Gift of Gab at his loquacious best, rolling over a booming beat produced by Nick Andre. In a statement, Andre noted the song’s beat “isn’t the type of beat that I would normally send Gab, but I’m glad I did because he absolutely destroyed it.” He continued, “I remember him hitting...

A young boy is picked on as a child and a seemingly innocent child-hood prank ends in disaster when he falls into a well, becoming scarred for life. On the fifteenth anniversary of his accident, he escapes from the local mental ward to get revenge on those involved in his accident and to woo the one girl who was ever really nice to him.
"What's all this I hear about an ear?" It is dialogue like this which makes Offerings, an otherwise blatant and unapologetic Halloween rip-off, a mildly entertaining entry into the 80's slasher genre. The film is such a blatant Halloween rip-off, from everything to the music, to plot elements, and to even how some scenes are shot and framed, it is surprising it ever got green-lit in the first place without worry...
