Sex & Nudity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Alcohol: A character takes a drink, but not to excess
  • There are a couple of scenes where cigarettes are present, but they way they are used is essential to the plot. A doll filled with heroin is also essential to the plot and is shown being stuffed in the opening of the film.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Even though most of the film is intense, because the viewer is aware of everything that is happening from the very beginning, the ending of the movie is even more so.

Violence & Gore

  • The antagonist is stabbed at the end; blood is visible.
  • There are several deaths in the movie, the most extreme being a man who is run over several times by a car (largely off screen and no gore is involved) and two men are stabbed (no gore in these scenes either). There is also a scene showing a woman in a sealed bag hidden in a closet who is already dead, presumably by suffocation.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is an extremely shocking jump scare at the end. It's regarded as one of the scariest moments in film history.
