The Radio Show of the same name started in 1945 and 3 years later in 1948, The Television Show made successful as well as Radio. The 1st Host is The Expired Bert Parks & Bud Collyer and the paying Teller is the late Janice Gilbert. The Contestants wanted to make an "BREAK THE BANK" Account and beware of the Bank Robbery that held up for all the assets of the show and for the Contestants by saying "We've Been Robbed!" In 1953, NBC DAytime of the show is identical to the nighttime show and for the last season (1956-1957), "BREAK THE BANK" became "BREAK THE $250,000 BANK" that's evolved into the Big Money bandwagon and after 1957 Began "BREAK THE BANK" & "BREAK THE $250,000 BANK" were cancelled and that's explained the 1st Edition of "BREAK THE BANK (1948-1957)."
