The series is available on NetFlix and I highly recommend it, mainly because my rating is completely inconsistent with the ratings and critics' ratings. The series is great. Very good photos, brilliant music, a nice idea to connect Mrs. Osiecka's life with the history of the Polish People's Republic and the songs with subsequent events in her life. Ms. Magdalena Poplawska - in the role of the adult Agnieszka Osiecka - is simply brilliant.

Ms. Agnieszka's biography itself suggests that she was an extraordinary woman, but it does not reveal - which the series does - that she was... a classic femme fatale. Everything she did in her life was intense and on the verge (of anything, including taste). She loved "totally" and that's how she wrote and acted, and the only sad thing is that she didn't find a man in her life who could handle it.

Personally, I liked the most - on the other hand the most "without a future" - her romance with Jeremi Przybora, and I felt most sorry for Passent, whom Ms. Agnieszka ruthlessly squeezed like a lemon and unceremoniously rejected.
