Sara Gilbert, who became very famous in Roseanne, guest stars as Laura Powers, whom Bart falls in love with, but Laura loves the tough guy persona, so she falls for Jimbo Jones, and Bart thankfully manages to get his revenge so good on him heh heh. Anyway, I'm enjoying reflecting on the early seasons of The Simpsons, which in my humble opinion represent the golden era, being the first 10 seasons. Anyway, New Kid on the Block portrays a love triangle that many can relate to, and what it means in the whole wide world to have their crush spurn them for someone tougher, so well done to Bart for his justice.
