Ambush Valley (1936)

The long arm of the pause.

Warning: Spoilers
Far too many gaps without dialog, sound effects or barely a horse clop. This D grade western never gets off the ground, let alone the hoof, a boring old oater, even at less than an hour. After the lively stock western marching movie in the credits, the film bogs down in a nearly plotless story involving murder and hostages and criminal in-laws to be. Bob Custer and Victoria Vinton lead the cast as the engaged marshal and his girl, the sister of a man he had to arrest. Absolutely tedious to the point that the viewer could fall asleep while waiting for something to happen. The only thing that this ambushed was my time.
