This movie was a total surprise. I didn't know what to expect. No big stars, just a really well done indie movie that flew under the radar. I was laughing, crying and heart was racing by the end. I love the characters so much. So relatable. I am surprised it didn't get more attention. It's the first time I have seen a trans character portrayed as a PERSON, not as a overly flawed and so wounded they act and feel like something to point at and promotes stereotypes. This really made Kai feel like he is just one of us, going through what we are going through and trying to connect. It's about making connections with unlikely people. It's a lovely film.
