Nothing funny at all from opening to closing credits.
31 December 2023
Whoever wrote the first 20 or so reviews apparently never actually watched the movie and just assumed it was their duty to rave about it because of the eluded to PC hopefully involved. Whenever the user star ratings are very low and all of the review ratings are 10 10 10 it kind of gives you a clue. So nothing funny from opening credits to closing credits does have a slight exception. The feeble attempts to slur white people and of course anyone assumed to have so called conservative values is kind of funny in and of itself. All of these attempt at comedy we're so feeble they fell on their face immediately. Again, the only time you could come close to a chuckle was because of the stupidity in the attempt. I've been a big Britt Robertson fan since Life Unexpected several years ago but trying to pass her off as a college party girl just doesn't work. Although cute as a button, she in no way resembles any type of former College roughhouser. Her token gay friend doesn't even pull that off convincingly whatsoever. He only proves that it's okay for a gay man to slap another man, obvious assault, but not for anyone else. Even though this little so-called comedy pushed every college cliche comedy button nothing ever works in a funny way. No halfway realistic looking parties or funny hazing or anything of the such. Robertson's character never seems to grow at all and her hopeful protege never has any type of epiphany moment either. And his almost 30 year old costar love interest playing an 18 year old College freshman doesn't help things at all. No reason for either of them to do so. After this 2 hour attempted college comical trice and I mean attempted in a generous way, you will walk away not having being bestowed anything, not even a wierd smile and wishing you had your two hours back to possibly stare at drying paint which is somewhat funnier.
