Basically this series shows that anyone who is following our tradition is close minded and the ones who are free to break them are open minded. Even the beautiful elements in our culture they made it look disgusting. In Ramadan women dress up very nicely and although it's traditional wear, still they are unique and fashionable. I just don't get why there are million references on how much they feel disgusted when wearing the traditional clothes and the hijab!!! No one said they should be wearing it but also why would they look disgusted when they have to wear it once for a family gathering during Ramadan? I mean this is a Saudi show, not an American show, can we at least try something different than the usual depictions of how we look into Arab culture??? They have only one way to show if a woman is open minded and educated; she isn't wearing the head scarf no one should tell her what to wear! Very typical and actually a bit dated picture of how women should look like? The clashing element in the show is exaggerated and disrespectful. But of course this is coming from Netflix so can't really expect anything better.
