If you're going to make a movie about WW2 even a fictional horror movie you need to at least try to stick with some basic basic concepts. The USA at the time 1944 was totally segregated by colour and there were no black soldiers in the airborne regiments at that period of history. Also the men shaved. If you're going to play fast and loose with basics like that then you might as well have the soldiers using smart phones, laptops and laser guided weapons, they weren't around in 1944 either no matter how much the director wants. So if you want to give you brain a rest, ok, but it's utter garbage.
