Takki (2012– )
10/10
Exceeded even my greatest expectations

Warning: Spoilers
I made an account just to leave a review for this amazing show.

At first, I didn't have high expectations because Arabic shows tend to drag and lack dynamics, so I'm suspicious of any show that has this number of seasons and episodes but I saw that the episodes are short so I thought I'd give it a shot. That really helped because in a few episodes I already had an idea of the plot and I decided to keep watching.

AND GOD WAS IT WORTH IT. This show has it all: magnificent acting, compelling atmosphere, emotional intensity, dynamics, action, cultural insight, important social themes, you name it. I'm a highly sensitive person and this show was like a drug to my heart and soul. Episode after episode, I ended up watching until 8:30 am and I had started around 9 pm the previous day. That's how much I enjoyed it.

Thank you to everyone involved for creating this beautiful, heart-touching masterpiece.

(Spoilers from here on)

I hated Majed all along but in the end I was grateful for what he did and happy that he decided to see a psychiatrist.

Jalal looked like a baddie but was a softie, he's oddly appealing. Congrats to the actor, he has charisma, got my attention from the first scene he was in.

Bader should be a model, his presence and charisma are chef's kiss. The scene where the morality police raided the restaurant and he was standing in front of the car staring into the distance? Hollywood vibes.

Firas was a piece of work but the actor portrayed him amazingly, he got every detail right, including the stalkerish, creepy, lustful eyes.

Congrats to everyone involved once again!
