The story, while certainly nothing excitingly original, was still intriguing. I think this had some light potential conceptually but was majorly let down by the acting and the script.

There's no need to harp too much on the negative, but both of these aspects were overwhelmingly poor and were a large factor in this movie's low rating. The acting was contrived and stilted from the majority of the people involved and it honestly made it difficult to watch. It also certainly didn't help that they had an honestly piss poor script to work with. It sounded like a high schooler wrote it in creative writing, it was pretty shocking how juvenile it sounded.

Despite these aspects it did have some positives. As stated, a moderately intriguing plot and when the spook was spooking, it spooked. I was pleasantly surprised with the creep factor. Had some dope kills, pretty gnarly cgi and sfx and was generally pretty atmospheric so that was certainly redeeming.

Overall though I must say that it was a little difficult to watch and I don't know that I would necessarily recommend it unless you're a true fan of indie horror.
