Shocking

I enjoyed this episode as much as the previous ones. In this episode, Ada Brooks meets an old acquaintance/admirer. A scheming Oscar plans to court Gladys Russell, much to the annoyance of his lover John Adams. The Christian Advocate wants to publish Peggy Scott's story, but with racist conditions. Marian secretly meets Raikes again. George is betrayed by his fellow businessmen, and he unleashes his fury.

This episode is very interesting. I'm so loving Agnes more and her witty dialogues, and how she protects her naive sister. Also interesting to see the Statue of Liberty's hand before it was assembled. I didn't know those things. But the stars of this episode are, again, the Russells. George is definitely a force to be reckoned with. It's so satisfying to see those two-faced high society men getting what they deserved tho, although I do feel a little pity for Mr. Morris. The episode ends with a bang.
