At least better than part II...
29 September 2023
I have watched the 2009 movie "Feast III: The Happy Finish" once before, but if I have to be honest, then I have entirely forgotten about the storyline in the movie. And thus, I returned to watch it once again here in 2023, as I opted to sit down and revisit the entire trilogy.

After a phenomenal 2005 "Feast" movie and a less than mediocre 2008 "Feast II: Sloppy Seconds" movie, I have to admit that I wasn't harboring much of any grand expectations to this 2009 third and final movie in the trilogy titled "Feast III: The Happy Finish". However, writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan managed to pull up the reins and steer the trilogy somewhat back on track. While "Feast III: The Happy Finish" wasn't as good as the 2005 first movie, it certainly was better than the 2008 sequel.

It was actually nice to see the cast from part II continue on with their characters in this third movie.

Visually then I will say that "Feast III: The Happy Finish" is good, and it was nice that they had toned down on the bodily fluid comedy that permeated part II.

The ending of the movie was just utter rubbish. Sure, it was unpredictable, but come on.

My rating of director John Gulager's 2009 movie "Feast III: The Happy Finish" lands on a five out of ten stars.
