"..., boy, is she hot or what?"

Oh man, I don't know why I do this to myself. Well, on second thought, yes I do. A title so outrageous as "Bring Me the Head of the Machine Gun Woman" just begs me to watch and see what it's all about. It was pretty obvious from the outset that the film was mimicking popular video games, with one of the main characters a game enthusiast. The title character herself, Machine Gun Woman (Fernanda Urrejola) was a weapon toting, leather clad sexy gal who got her kicks out of offing the mercenaries dispatched to kill her when she dumped gangster boss Che Longana (Jorge Alís), who put a price on her head. Some of the story's continuity got lost on this viewer, and it had nothing to do with the Spanish dialog or the English sub-titles. When La Mujer Metralleta brought a bag of something to exchange for a suitcase full of money by one of the outlaws, what was supposed to be in the bag? Without revealing that, the gunfight that broke out made no sense. And then, when DJ Santiago Fernández (Matías Oviedo) went to rescue her from the gunshot wound, what was his motivation to take his 'Weapon of Mass Destruction' tee-shirt off?? Other than to set up the sex scene later on, but that could have happened right then and there. All in all, this was a pretty pointless movie that got repetitious with each video game chapter like it was going to the next level until the final mission. But as usual, I come to appreciate a more well-rounded viewing experience no matter how dubious the end result turned out to be.
