So, to start, why were so many things left unexplained and untouched. Why did Marinette have to save the Miraculous Holder from getting hit by a car, but then Adrien just gets his by sitting in his room? It's later said by Tikki, that she knew that Marinette was the right person to be Ladybug and how she has been doing this for so long. Although, if that's the case, then why wasn't this obvious to the Miraculous Holder? He has been the guardian for a long time, although not obvious in the movie, so he would've known this, just like how he explained the power and nature of the Miraculous. Also, when he was explaining and he walked behind the tree, why is it never explained how he disappeared? I assume it might be like the Horse Miraculous or something, but why is it so rushed. I understand that it is a movie, but after years of hype and built-up excitement, maybe the plot could have been altered to work for a movie-length duration. Aside from the story, why do the voices seem off? It might be that their voices aren't stressed when speaking as to coincide with the calming effect given off by the movie's animation, as the effects and models are the movie's main attention grabbing feature. This was understandable, but why was Marinette's singer's voice not even close to her actual voice? Adrien's voice was a decent match, unless it was his actual voice, which in that case would make the situation even more absurd. That's because Gabriel's voice actor also sings for the character, making it seem slightly unnecessary. Back to the story, more specifically the ending. Why did the movie end like that? Ladybug and Cat Noir are basically about to lose, so Tikki reminds Marinette of something to do with love, but that doesn't even matter because Gabriel ends up slapping Cat Noir so hard that his mask rips and Gabriel finds out that he just beat up his son, so he decides to stop his reign of terror and actually care for his son, which isn't even lore accurate because he really couldn't care any less for his own son emotionally. Then a time skip to the masquerade ball, where Marinette goes off looking for Adrien. She finds Adrien, calls him Cat Noir, and he somehow still can't tell that Marinette is Ladybug, I thought maybe the masks were magic and disguised their face to others or something, but no, she literally puts on Adrien's mask and he finally realizes that it's her. This was the most infuriating part, that's because he literally worked with Ladybug for months, while hanging out with Marinette what appeared to be often, yet he didn't think, "It sure is odd how Marinette looks and sounds exactly like Ladybug." Anyway, the movie otherwise was pretty good.
